I agree with cardinal...the 9th civic for Pakistan market would be a more sportier and sharper looking car with enhanced performance, styling and luxury, getting front end looks adaptation from current Accord Euro and City... will get DEFINETLY a bigger engine 2.0, newer suspension and trans AND a newer more aggressive looking driver centric two tier digital cluster interior, continuing on from the 8th..
>>>NOW PRICE---I believe that the top of the line model (what we perceive as "Oriel Prosmatic") will be costing around 2.2 mils (up by minimum 2 lacks from current), hence on the road NEW CIVIC costing around 2.35 mils with registration and extra pocket money(own)..
and i know Honda Atlas can pull it off easily by throwing in some goodies (what are considered standard or maybe available in higher end USDM Models/JDM Models/Euro Models) like Cruise, Steering Thumb Controls-Audio, Bluetooth, Trip/Fuel Efficeincy Computer, Full Leather-Trimmed Interior, 5 Speed Auto Trans, Dual Front & Side Curtain Airbags, Tire Pressure Monitor, Honda Labelled NAV/DVD/Rear Camera/USB/Speed Sensing Volume, Parking Sensors, 3 step Head Light Angle and Push Start(Maybe) and definetly overall better product quality....
Now comparing this to Altis which is currently costing around 1.85 mils, Civic will set itself apart as a luxurious local car....
SO what brings me to my point is when comparing the newer upcoming Civic 9th to the Current JDM Accord which is costing us what 6.0 mils now, Civic would be more than a half decent car with a price tag of 65% lesser from Accord... WE ARE IN PAKISTAN SIR... ALL IS POSSIBLE.. those who want to drive Pakistan's favourite can drive a Corolla, or those who want high end performance(much more than what we just call here "Gaari ka PICK"), Sporty looks and better luxury,, All of them would have to loosen their pockets a bit more... and i know for sure there are enough customers like that in Pakistan to bring Honda Atlas into PROFIT..
