Sorry dude, first I do not believe that this was done within 30 minutes, secondly, even if it is done, then it MUST be an inside job. Somebody must have duplicated the key.
Technically speaking, all the code in ECU is encrypted and its private key is burned inside your key. You insert your key, it is read by the electronic equipment, code is used to decrypt the code inside ECU, if key does not matches, ECU does not kicks in. Its just like, you have encrypted hard-disk in your computer and Windows will not start unless hard-disk is decrypted. The only way is to remove the old ECU and install new one for which you have a known key OR someone reprogrammed the ECU - i.e. cleared the ROM and burned with new firmware.
If some Pakistani has hacked above said, trust me, he should be awarded with Turing Award ( Turing Award - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) - for 'breaking' the Asymmetric encryption!
