    Default CIVIC Vti 99......WEAK HEAD LIGHTS

    I have Honda Civic Vti 99
    head lights are not good, and seems weak
    i observe that last owner used to buff headlights......and it seems to be like scratchy dull look.
    Plz suggest what should i do ???????

    seems the headlight plastic might have gone dull/yellow and the previous owner tried to rectify that before the sale. get the headlights polished by a pro (try PSO f-8) and also you could try and get them removed and cleaned from the inside as well (they literally wash the headlight).

    Sometimes if the headlight isn't closed properly after installing/replacing a bulb it allows dust to get in and it ruins the headlights light ourput.

    dude,
    how do u know previous owner loved buffing windscreens headlights what not?

    hope he didnt try to buff u to bro

    anyways get the headlights cleaned from inside and new reflectors inside(they use silver paper)
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    if its appear clean...than its due to a weak wiring... as with time... now it needs an addition of relay to the headlights and add a xenon head lamp instead of normal halagen... or if u don't wish to change to white lights than use the halogens of philips or osram. no china...

    chek the bulb first make sure its not chinese.... before goin for polish or changing the bulb.... moreover halogens' are normally 60/50 watts whr as xenon comes in 100/110 and 200/230 watts... so choice is urs .... xenon's are good quality of korea
