    due to increasing price of petrol i m planing to convert my civic 2001 exi prosmatec to CNG.

    should i go for it? please advice

    yes sure u go for it.....alot of friend running auto 01 and 04 on cng without any issues

    Yes u can but buy the best equipment for cng and best fitter of cng kit.

    I suggest not to go for CNG, as its almost same as Petrol if you calcualte for some period of time.

    1. CNG Equipment Cost Recovery
    2. Faster Engine Deteroriation
    3. Frequent Tune Ups
    4. Frequent Filter and Oil Change as compared to Petrol
    5. Over heating as compared to Petrol runned Engine
    6. 40-50% Trunk Space Gone
    7. More Weight at Rear Wheels

    And many other things as if by bad luck you got bad fitter then multiply it. If you can afford for Petrol then keep away from CNG otherwise its compromise and short time saving.
