Default Civic 05 Exi prosmatec, Just got CNG out , But petrol mileage has gone extremely bad

Just got a Civic 05 Exi prosmatec from a friend with 44,000 kms done, the owner got CNG out , I`ve got it tuned by KHAN but still the petrol mileage is extremely bad, i guess around 5 km/litre. The guys at Khan could not find any problem with anything. Any suggestions .. what might be causing such bad fuel consumption . has it got anything to do with the taking out of the CNG ?

removing cng should actually increase the mileage. cause u loose cylinder weight. and any air restrictions are removed with it.
the car is low mileage.i dont know what can go possibly wrong with it. weird
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

I replaced the sparkplugs and airfilter with new ones recommended by Honda. Iam a bit hesitant on getting the throttle body opened and serviced as its functioning very properly. Confirm me if there can be a leakage or a lose joint due to uninstallation of CNG?

Exactly i was coming to the same point i had an EXI 96 of which i got the throttle body serviced a couple of times. The acceleration and check light are perfectly alright plus i dont really think the mileage detiorates this much due to unclean throttle body. Im sure my throttle body is doing fine its something else.

Tires are not oversized , and i did use to send my cars to Honda & toyota but they havnt been satisfying lately. They seem more concerned with replacing the parts then getting them fixed/serviced which only in turn multiplies the bill amount. I just got it checked by (enercon) Khan motors again yesterday and they have further reduced the fuel adjustment. If it still doesnt bring back the car to its normal fuel consumption i might just have to take it to honda for a complete checkup.!

    HI,

Get your Valves re-done,if you want the same mileage as a civic which has never run on cng, CNG ruins the valves. Mark my words here, you will never get good mileage until you get the Valves re-done.

    Sir

Your fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel lines are OK ?

    Check your fuel injectors also.

Get a complete 100K KM check from Honda South.

Thanks ..somebody else also told me abt the valves, but i need to be sure if my valves really need to be re-done..i dont want to further **** it up... by getting the head opened....my car is doing absolutely fine plus none of the mechanics including khan(a renowned name here in khi) and Honda has been able to point the problem out.. even got a 30 km road test at honda but it was on an open road and the mileage came out pretty artificial (14.5km/ltr) i came back thinking the problem has been solved....but no ..its still the same 6.5 km/ltr.. Im sure there must be some way we can check if the valves are doing fine...??? anyone,,?
