everybody dreams to fly. Also none of us want to ruin our engine yet desire an optimal performance and long lasting life and thousands of kilometers.
Its a fact that nos, turbo, supercharger and blah blah all do damage a stock engine no matter how finally tuned they are. its simple because we here own family cars not performance cars which are designed for the purpose with forged pistons, alloy reinforced blocks, light weight cams and cranks etc. a lot many of us cant afford a sports car and its heavily scheduled maintenance.
Whats advisable in my opinion and i am no expert is that if you want some real power u should go for engine swap along with turbo or whatever u like and keep ur stock engine in store. enjoy for whatever time u like and then sell the setup. and u surely will because u soon know how many times u have to go to mechanic, frequent and original oil changes and above all fuel charges.
if u want performance which is modest and wont effect ur engine and yet make you above average. please follow following steps and dont expect to gain more 10 to 15 hp at most but u surely will cross 200km on your next motorway trip.
1. remove CNG kit COMPLETELY.
2. Go for an intake system according to ur budget.
3. Go for headers and downpiping.
4. Put some performance plugs and heavy wires.
5. Ask them to reprogram ur ECU or MAF sensor.
6. Stock coil and voltage stabilizer.
now u are good to go.
con is .
1. No more fuel economy.
But you will be far safer as well as ur engine and less frequent tuneups etc
Just dont forget to keep an eye on temp guage and oil change interval.
remember speed costs money and life.
