Question Civic 8thgen: Seat Replacement Possible?

    Hi,
Can we replace the 'quite uncomfortable' seats of Civic Oriel 2009 with seats of Accord CL9 or some other 'notably comfortable' seats? Has anyone done it so far? What option do we have to make seats comfortable in a Civic?
    Thanks!

i installed foam padded seat covers over the originals, the seats are pretty comfortable now. not sure about replacement though.

These seats actually help you maintain an upright position which helps on long drives, you wont loose concentration and will stay focused on the road, however they can feel a bit uncomfy if you sit in a corolla.

anyways i agree with the above, you can get the seat covers which have foam padding, but trust me it won't help much

Well.. I don't want a 'jugar' type of solution. Quality matters. Everyone says that Accord CL7 or CL9 seats are superbly comfortable.
Can we put these seats in Civic?

    lol nice reply
Actually all uncomfortable seats will make you more attentive as you can not relax and will be cursing the car all the time!

Anyways I surprisingly I find civic seats to be okay although its a matter of personal preference and I havn't driven the car on long routes.

    @Yahyujee
Yes you can replace the seats but it will cost ALOT and there would be gaps in the cabin which will look ugly. The seats may also not properly 'blend in'. Changing the cloth is a better idea

suzuki dabba aka bolan/ravi front seats keep a person exactly in 90 degrees(upright position) to make the driver attentive which actually help you maintain an upright position which helps on long drives, you wont loose concentration and will stay focused on the road.same is the case with civic rebarn!go for better seats maybe recaro or sparco seats.

Brother try looking for JDM seats in used parts market such as Bilal Ganj in Lahore or Sultan ka Khoo in Pindi.

There are some JDM hybrid civics in the market (same generation and shape) and their seat material and contours make a much more relaxed seat!

    Cheers.

Now this is one really usefull suggestion! I am surely going to search for these in Pindi and Peshawar. As for Lahore and Karachi, can any brother Pakwheeler help me? If such JDM model civic 2007 - 2009 seats are available anywhere, plz do let me know.
So far, I have been able to understand that we CAN NOT replace Civic 8th gen seats with Accord's.
    Thanks all!

You may be able to replace them but as mentioned earlier by another fellow, the difference in the size and other details may lead to unwanted gaps inside the cabin which will look bad.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.
