Default Honda Civic 99 Suggest Workshop?

Honda Civic, Model 1999, Engine 1500CC EXI, Manual Transmission

I want to replace gasket of my car. How much expensive it is and what is the best place to get the best work done.

Please help me here. I have been going to different mechanics but every time when I return back from a mechanic something else comes up as a problem due to mechanics work. So I want to know about an expert Honda mechanic.

Or please suggest whether the Honda workshops are good enough to get work done from them.

Please also suggest how much expensive this gasket replacement could be.

    Regards,
    Asif

i think labour charges should be 1500-2000
original steel gasket would be around 2-3k
    head facing should be 500

isb have no clue. i get my cars fixed from pindi
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

he is the worst mechanic i have ever seen in my whole life!his mechanics aka helpers are so jahil and careless that they almost disturb the whole setup of your car! due to his fault the brakes of my car failed as he didnt checked the rubber bushes of the master cylinder and recapped the same old rubber bush which was torn the very next day!i was at 100kmph and when i applied brakes they were failed and i was liked WTF!!! however i managed to slow down the car by applying full handbrake! when i went to him he said "*** thaa poot phat gia hai" chotay ko bula us ki **** mai danada deta hn!and from that day i never visited that workshop!

In last 6 months I have spent almost 50k on my car. But each of the problem I have fixed in my car reappeared within a couple of months.

Such a pathetic state of these road side mechanics that I have divorced them all.

Look at the misery I have now fourth time paid for repair of my brakes within 4 months and now I believe the last work will sustain for some period as the noise from brakes have gone for now. I have got this last work from Honda official workshop.

Also I had first replaced engine timing belt seals then i had replaced engine jane. But still there is seepage coming at the lower part of the oil box. I am really fed up what the hell is this.

Also I had got bushes replaced in the forward axle and still they have play in them.

Such a miserable state of affairs is this that if i could i will put to jail all these mechanics.

I believe you must go to honda workshop or to a genuine workshop where mechanics put their hands to work and not the helpers do the work.

Still there is a lot to fix in my car. But I think I have got the right place to get work done. Though its expensive and this is why civic maintenance is expensive if you really will care. Otherwise these road side jugglers keep filling their pockets in installments and keep the car in the same state so that it keeps coming to them again and again.
