Default Rear Shock Absorbers & Digital Meter for Civic - 1988

    Dear All,
I would like to know about repair of rear shock absorbers which are genuinely gas filled and sealed. I have seen people getting these repaired by filling oil in them. What i want to ask is that does it really work after filling shocks oil by cutting and putting a seal in them. Do they work as they should or i should go for kabli shocks (pls tell me the price and place to get kabli in pindi /isb) if filling oil is not good.

Secondly, i have seen the same car with digital meter and another with glowing needles meter. Do any body know the place & price for these ?

    Advise required please...

    My advise.
For shock absorbers, I would advise you to buy from saddar old parts market. Repair does'nt work with shock absorbers.

For repairs only Doora Shock Wala is a reliable shop.

Otherwise better get new ones, don't have gu experience with qabli ones

The shop keepers of old parts market in saddar, they offer 10 days warranty of the kabli shock absorbers. Ask them for better one, or take your mechanic along. I bought the pair of front shock absorbers for my civic 94 in 3000. and same price is for rear ones.
