Default engine oil for civic 90-91

I recently bought civic and this my first civic so i am very much confused which engine oil to choose for this car. I have been using cuore for 4 years and putting ZIC A in it but little bit confused what kind of oil CIVIC wanted as its an old car. BTW its engine sound is quite low and when I accelerate this machine it gives me a very smooth sound indeed.! So I decided to put ZIC A 10w 40 for this car?

Lets see what oil experts recommends?

ZIC A is also good, but I would recommend using mineral based ZIC HIFLO for older models of cars.

are there any disadvantages of using ZIC A in that old car engine wise? or its only the waste of money to use ZIC A in older car?

    Use Zic A

People have a tendency to recommend 20w/50 for all old cars. But a 10w/40 is pretty good too for your car. Its not THAT old.

Yeah I observed low engine noise as well as better fuel consumption. BTW my car's engine is never opened (sealed) and its odo meter says it is ran 190k kms. Moreover the door slams pretty like new cars not making "TACHIK..." sound..
