Default 8th generation Civic fan and owner club

the 2006 generation Honda split the model into two different platforms, one primarily for the home market and North America and the other designed for the European market using a simpler rear suspension from the Honda Fit and more aggressive styling. As of 2006, a total of 16.5 million Civics had been sold worldwide, with 7.3 million of them in the United States.[5] Although the North American and the home market model differ externally, they are mechanically identical. The European model is available as a three and five-door hatchback while the Japanese/North American model is available as either sedan or coupe. Both Si and Type-R trim levels continue although the Japanese and European Type-R while sharing the same size engine are mechanically different. In the US an improved version of the Si tuned by Honda tuner Mugen is offered featuring cosmetic alterations and changes to the suspension and exhaust system. The Acura version of the Civic not only received the design change, but also saw a new nameplate, changing from the Acura EL to the Acura CSX. In Japan starting March 2006, the Honda dealership sales channels called Honda Primo, Verno, and Clio were disbanded, and combined into one retail dealership called Honda Cars.

I want to replace the radiator. the problem is here in Dubai the cost is Rs 60000. So i plan to import from Pakistan through my friend.
But the problem is left hand drive where as in pak its right hand drive. Can the radiator from pak spec fit in my civic?? can anyone show me the actual position of radiator cap and hose in & out, picture.

    Many Thanks in advance.

The bottle is also not in good condition. How much does the radiator cost in Pak. Here its around 2000 aed for genuine and Chinese for 950 AED. I intend to change radiator, replace all hose, new thermostat, and block the heater connections as its also rusted. then coolant.

Does anyone know the Freon amount required?

What could be the reason for low cooling of A/c when the temperature gets really hot? Honda checked the cabin cooling and said its fine. They also checked the pressure via guage and said its fine too.
But I'm not convinced so we agreed to get it checked on a really hot day. Any suggestions anyone?

What is the Annual token tax for non filer and filler these days?

If gas is OK than replace AC filter. AC throw and cooling is blocked due to choked AC filter, so even with full gas in condenser, AC will working will be normal but you will not enjoy good cooling .You may get a normal quality filter round Rs. 500 which should be replaced every season and more better to get it cleaned (by air pressure) by every month.

Token for non-filer is Rs. 23384 and for filer it is approx Rs. 5000

I have recently done tunning job of my car @ 97000 KMs. Following job is done under this work:

New Irridium laser spark plugs added, cost Rs. 3800 (bought from market, some shop keepers were asking Rs.4200 for same plugs / brand)
Throttle opened and fully cleaned / serviced.
    Tappets adjusted.
Air filter changed , (copy Honda filter, cost Rs. 600 and got it at Rs. 500 (bought from market)
    Computerized adjustments

All tunning job was done by Honda 1-10, tunning charges Rs. 3500 (They were asking for Rs. 4000 for tunning job which is more as compared with other HONDA Service centers but i got it done @ Rs. 3500 , also all car suspension check up was done under this price after negotiation with them)

Total Tunning Cost Rs. 7800 (including new plugs and filter price).

This info is for reference of members.

I don't think these are original, since price of iridium plugs set is around 8500 at Honda 3S.

I was quoted 2k per plug which is 16k for 8 plugs. Is this the latest rate? I asked just a few weeks ago.
