Default 8th generation Civic fan and owner club

the 2006 generation Honda split the model into two different platforms, one primarily for the home market and North America and the other designed for the European market using a simpler rear suspension from the Honda Fit and more aggressive styling. As of 2006, a total of 16.5 million Civics had been sold worldwide, with 7.3 million of them in the United States.[5] Although the North American and the home market model differ externally, they are mechanically identical. The European model is available as a three and five-door hatchback while the Japanese/North American model is available as either sedan or coupe. Both Si and Type-R trim levels continue although the Japanese and European Type-R while sharing the same size engine are mechanically different. In the US an improved version of the Si tuned by Honda tuner Mugen is offered featuring cosmetic alterations and changes to the suspension and exhaust system. The Acura version of the Civic not only received the design change, but also saw a new nameplate, changing from the Acura EL to the Acura CSX. In Japan starting March 2006, the Honda dealership sales channels called Honda Primo, Verno, and Clio were disbanded, and combined into one retail dealership called Honda Cars.

Sir many of you have used Civic 8th gen prosmatic.
I want one favour ,my car is 30000km on odo.
I am felling its shifting slightly slower than before.
I decided to change its atf .
Honda people are showing a filter costing 1900rs.
Should i change it with atf.

As we bought our car in 2010.

Although it is only 30000km driven but is 6years old car.

    It is some external filter.
Does changing this filter can cause any complication?

Thanks, is changing the external filter a difficult procedure or simple?

    How much time it takes?

I have a 2011 civic 8th gen. I have a kenwood usb player installed as it comes. I was thinking of replacing it with the honda oem navigation. Is it recommended or should i go for a third party dvd nav player. If so any original good brand?

Aoa mike786, normally Reborn does not heats up on long hilly journeys but lets not forget that most Reborn are now five years old which mean that over the years the radiators are clogged with dust, diesel and bugs and this leads to less heat transfer. And now add to that the hilly terrain which puts strain on engine and then additional load in your car as well. One more thing the air is less dense at high altitudes which means the heat transfer rate gets depreciated in simple terms less dense air flowing over your radiator coil.

I would not worry too much about it. If I were you I would take sometime out and get the radiator coil and air conditioning coil thoroughly cleaned. Its time consuming because they have to take off the front bumper but its worth the effort. Secondly I would drain the exiting coolant and replace it with Honda OEM coolant.
I didn't choose vitz, vitz chose me!

Radiator maybe little rusted due to putting water. Try getting radiator serviced and pouring Honda recommend coolant
