the 2006 generation Honda split the model into two different platforms, one primarily for the home market and North America and the other designed for the European market using a simpler rear suspension from the Honda Fit and more aggressive styling. As of 2006, a total of 16.5 million Civics had been sold worldwide, with 7.3 million of them in the United States.[5] Although the North American and the home market model differ externally, they are mechanically identical. The European model is available as a three and five-door hatchback while the Japanese/North American model is available as either sedan or coupe. Both Si and Type-R trim levels continue although the Japanese and European Type-R while sharing the same size engine are mechanically different. In the US an improved version of the Si tuned by Honda tuner Mugen is offered featuring cosmetic alterations and changes to the suspension and exhaust system. The Acura version of the Civic not only received the design change, but also saw a new nameplate, changing from the Acura EL to the Acura CSX. In Japan starting March 2006, the Honda dealership sales channels called Honda Primo, Verno, and Clio were disbanded, and combined into one retail dealership called Honda Cars.

Am perfectly satisfied with the decision of not getting original as the copy screen is almost same. In terms of tint, visibility, reflection and glare etc is equally good and its quite hard to figure out the difference as well.

A bigger factor was: few of my friends and relatives got screen replaced from Honda and turned out they had been ripped off as Honda themselves charged for original and fitted the same first copy, which was found out later. So i wasn't willing to trust them since honestly in terms of look and quality both i was surprised to see the copy type screen myself.

The screen you got must be the orignal one....honda charges three times more for exactly the same thing...exactly the same thing i repeat

Bro honestly the tints, stamps, border patterns and logos did surprise me and put me in doubt too. And what you said is exactly something that insiders of their body shop told me: Sir jee inhon ne ap ki gaari do din issi liye rakhni hai kyunke inhon ne bahir se 9000 wali screen dalwa kar deni hai aapko.

I promise one of my Uncle's screen got replaced by Honda. A few days later outside a butcher's shop a local screen wala walking by approached him in the market and said: Sir jee theek hai na screen ab aap ki gari ki. Upon probing him out of curiosity he discovered what 3S did to his car. He went back with the situation and people at Honda 3S accepted the cheating they did.

No wonder why they say: Sir screen order karain gey Honda factory se ani hai iss liye 2 din lagain gey, aur setting k liye aap ki gari ko hum 18 hours screen fitting k baad cover daal kar park bhi toh rakhain gey. It was a long story of excuses making it obvious what they were planning to do.

    Dear experts, AOA
    I own a 2009 oriel pros.
The issue I am facing is a tak tak\ karr karr sound when turning my steering wheel from left to right or from right to left even when the car is stopped. One thing for sure is that this is not a goda\ boot thingy. What could be the problem? And apparent solution please.

    Thanks

I am not an expert to be honest but here's my opinion:
Is it like a sound of constant vibration when turning steering, like a soft grinding sound (something like Krrrr.... Krrr.... Krrr) if yes its nothing much to worry about, the 8th gen suspension responds and takes effect of a turning steering. (Carefully notice you will experience a still car shifting angle and slight direction more than other cars which stay relatively stagnant when turning steering). As a result the suspension moves a bit even when car is at stand still. With passage of time this starts sounding higher due to dryness and if car is not washed underneath for a long time. Just get it service washed underneath properly and it will be gone. So this sound is a characteristic of most 8th gens, though not supposed to be much loud. A newer 8th gen does it too but on a lower unnoticeable volume.

However if its a hard grinding sound, that may be due to low fluid in Power steering pump.

First solution is service wash thoroughly underneath the body before dust and road debris further keeps reacting on moveable parts, next step would be getting your rubber boots and bushings checked for being torn or cracked, also where reachable under the car body when on pit, lubrication such as greasing or WD-40 (not much in excess and only if rubbers are fine, in exposed joints). That will reduce it very much though won't funish it off as its a natural response of parts in movement.
Next get just a thorough check of any loose suspension bolts if any. Don't get them done over extra tightened as that may put stress. Keep in mind after application of WD-40 excess solution needs to be simply washed off.

Basically its just a general checkup and service of underbody suspension parts. Rejuvenation, we wash our cars from above, detail them and never think about the harshness and dust etc those moving parts underneath go through after being driven on rough dusty roads, through mud, water puddles and loose gravel as per road conditions of Pakistan.
A piece of advice: this is not a big issue at all so don't drive to a Honda 3S as they will for no reason change parts and rip your wallet. First stop is a service station and if still needed, a good trusted mechanic who rejuvenates it instead if changing things for no reason.
