Default 8th generation Civic fan and owner club

the 2006 generation Honda split the model into two different platforms, one primarily for the home market and North America and the other designed for the European market using a simpler rear suspension from the Honda Fit and more aggressive styling. As of 2006, a total of 16.5 million Civics had been sold worldwide, with 7.3 million of them in the United States.[5] Although the North American and the home market model differ externally, they are mechanically identical. The European model is available as a three and five-door hatchback while the Japanese/North American model is available as either sedan or coupe. Both Si and Type-R trim levels continue although the Japanese and European Type-R while sharing the same size engine are mechanically different. In the US an improved version of the Si tuned by Honda tuner Mugen is offered featuring cosmetic alterations and changes to the suspension and exhaust system. The Acura version of the Civic not only received the design change, but also saw a new nameplate, changing from the Acura EL to the Acura CSX. In Japan starting March 2006, the Honda dealership sales channels called Honda Primo, Verno, and Clio were disbanded, and combined into one retail dealership called Honda Cars.

Whata bout the blower speed?is the throw slow on full speed?if it is then get the service done because when it isnt serviced the throw is very slow and the coil gets cold very quickly but that temperature isnt being transfered in the car because of slow fan speed and when the coil gets cold enough it trips the compressor

I Had the car serviced recently and gas refilled. The Condenser had a leakage so was re-placed with a brand new one from Honda.
On full speed the blower throws fast. Its not slow. Mechanic has checked and says there is no leakage yet the Car does cooling but its not chilling. Previously i had to keep the blower on low speed most the time. Now i have to keep it mostly on higher speeds. Is it possible that the car needs more gas? Mechanic was saying that these cars do not have some bottle so he was not sure how much gas to put in last time.

So does anyone know of some really good AC mechanic in Isb who can handle Reborns.

One of the most common symptom of gas 'overfilling' and 'underfilling' is decreased ac performance..Some honda 3s have a machine that retrieves ur old gas and puts in exactly that is required..btw honda r18's usually take a max of 0.5kg of R134a ac gas..so better u take it to honda and ask them to check how much freon u have in ur system!

I am hearing a "Dug Dug" sound from front suspension of my 09' Oriel while passing by rough road patches and potholes. Apparently, the reason is bad bushes of steering rack. Does anyone has an experience with the problem and estimated cost to replace the problematic bushes?

    Looking forward!

Get it properly tuned from Honda people. Not roadside mechanics. Please understand it's a dbw equipped car. You cannot simply wash it's throttle body with some liquid. Tps needs to be calibrated through HDS. Get tappets and throttle both done by honda people and problem will be solved. Ecu reset won't help no matter what you do.

    Check your catalytic converter.

    If clogged clean it

    If totally clogged remove it.

    Check air filter.

It can also be the engine mounting. Please have it checked.
