    I have a great problem of CNG in my Civic EXI 2005, that is, problem of Low RPM 400-500 on idle. i have traveled on it from Peshawar to Islamabad and near motorway exit at Islamabad it stopped and didn't start even with a good battery. after wards, when it is started,The car Vibrate badly and often stops when i bring my car in to neutral. The kit is Landi Renzo. Please suggest what to do.

    well i think its time for a throttle body service and a little idle speed adjustment.

    the royal treatment would be
    1. throttle body service
    2. tuning.
    3.injector cleaner
    4.hi octane 1/2 tank

    i mean that you shud have half tank of hi octane and half petrol (50-50 ratio). it will clean the engine and the injectors

    Now there are three chances, i would not waste ur time in asking whats urs so i'm explaining all three for u.

    1- If the rpm is fine on petrol than ur throttle body is fine just spray some carb cleaner if u want.

    2- If rpm is not fine on petrol than open up and clean throttle body and clean IACV.

    3- If rpm problem u're facing is on CNG ONLY, than its the time to refix the CNG settings which is usually required by an EFI car after sometime. If u're well aware of ur cars engine and cng kit then u can do it by urself, its not a big science.

    thanks alot @tayyabbaig but i want to tell you that khyber has a carby engine so it doesn't have IACV and no throttle body! and my cars rpm sometimes fluctuate both on cng as well as on petrol and as soon as i press the full accelerator it becomes normal!

    @Zeejigs

    The problem in ur case is really simple. Under the air-cleaner box and at the back of carburetor there is a "Idle Speed Adjusting Cracksrew", you just need to adjust your idle speed by rotating that screw. It will fix ur problem at both petrol and cng. Just a small screwdriver required and u're done.

    how to adjust that idle screw how much should we have it opened or should we close it.
    Money differs from an automobile or mistress in being equally important to those who have it and those who do not.
