    Mobil oil.
    refrain from 'saroun da tael'.
Every time someone refers to Honda Civic as 'reborn', a puppy dies! Oh and I hate increasing my post count.

Any oil with a viscosity of 10W 30 or 10W 40 with at least a rating of API-SL is ideal for Honda Civic '05. Personally, I would recommend Caltex Havoline as it is readily available from Caltex petrol stations. Don't ever go for low viscosity oil such as 0W 30 or 5W 30 as these oils are for extreme cold conditions. If you can somehow get hold of genuine Zic motor oil in the same viscosity and rating, then nothing like it.

I would suggest Petromin Ultra 7.

Have been using it in Civic 2000 and a number of family/friend's/colleagues cars for almost a year now.

The noticeable difference I've felt is very smooth idling, plus increased mileage.

Its also very reasonably priced, and good enough for 5000 kilometers which makes it the best bang for the buck amongst the lot.

Ultra 7 is Rs. 1540/- for a 4L can in Lahore, and 1500 in Islamabad.

Sir 0W 40 works very well in Civic and even SJ grade oil works fine whichever suits driving conditions and pocket.

    Used 10w30 in 1981 Accord.

The engine must be in good condition for synthetic oils or low viscosity.
