sir instalation of what?spkrs?or retratable mirrors? As far as auto mode of window is concerned its a birth defect in this model! Reqs some lubrication. Any silicone based
spray sprayed in the window sills should solve the prob. Some use wd 40 aswell but its debatable as others say is causes corrosion of rubber parts.

There are immobilizers that scan the key "chip" (like sim cards); but its not in PKDM Civic atleast. There is no "chip" or anything in the "key" itself...I dont know this for sure; but this is my understanding.

The Immobilizer is there in all trims; but it works like thumb recognition system. The immobilizer "scan" and "verifies" the signature of key by its cuts. My brother asked the same question why they need to re-program immobilizer. I once worked on "hand punch" based attendance system. The device scan the lengths of each finger and it has slots that over the time get losed (its natural) and when the device is serviced the slots get reset and it has option to "reset". Basically machine stores the day 0 lengths of fingers and over the time when slots get lose it re-caliberate itself and when its servied we need to tell that forget about auto-recaliberated values and start using day 0 values. I think re-programming immobilizer is sort of same process. I havnt yet got the key and I was given 2 weeks time. Will share the details.

bro try covering the plastic part of the key with foil n then try starting the car.it wont start! Its coz of the chip. I think suzuki were giving immobolisers with late model balenos or lianas also. Im pretty sure keys have the chip. When ur new key comes open it up n remove electricals in the key fob. Insert it in ignition n rotate.it shodnt start.

Roll down the window and keep the power button pressed for few seconds and then roll up the window and again keep the button pressed for few seconds. This would reprogram the switch and the problem should be solved. Take care.

Love every bit of the sound reproduced from the Focals. Worth every penny spent. And the woofer? Like many were cautioning me to stay away from it or get Pioneer, JBL. But frankly, the sub is excellent as far as SQ is concerned, clear, crisp and punchy.
Maybe I like it because I'm the kind of guy whose even happy with factory speakers. That reminds me.........Wait till I post the pics of the factory speakers just removed from the door. I wouldn't be surprised if the pair sell for Rs.250/-
