    @ALL

IMHO All those brothers interested in choosing Dynamat for a quite noise-fee ride my request is to select the product Dynamat Xtreme primarily because it supposedly top of the line, with more acoustic absorption and weather tolerance (the stickier the better and heat plays a major role in screwing imitations and alternates).
In order to make it more easier for you guys, my suggestion is that all those who need it should come up with their demand in terms of requirement like 4 doors, or trunk or floor only etc and then we could arrange a bargain price to get the Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pack which contains 9 sheets each. Then it could be split amongst each other as per the requirement. This way it will cost less in accordance with what is our actual need.

Some FAQs I got off the Dynamat Website FAQs for the benefit of the readers:

    What Is Dynamat
Dynamat is a thin, flexible, easy to cut and mold sheet that actually stops noise causing resonance and vibration, by using visco-elastic qualities that promote vibro-acoustic energy conversion. In short, that means noise becomes silent energy.

How much Dynamat do I need to use to be effective?
You can apply Dynamat in patches (25-50% area coverage) to keep a specific panel from resonating or you can apply it over an entire area (such as the floor, doors, or trunk) to create a sound barrier and vibrational damper.

How does Dynamat stop road noise?
As a car operates, it generates noise. This noise is caused by the transference of energy (vibration) from the internal components and from the road to the chassis of the vehicle. The chassis (doors, floors, roof etc.) transforms this vibration into audible noise. Dynamat transforms the energy (vibration) into silent energy.

What part of the vehicle should I do first?
A: We recommend applying Dynamat to any surface you can easily reach. In general, we recommend treating your vehicle in the following order: Doors, Trunk, Rear Deck, Floors, Roof, Hood, then Fenders.

How Much bass increase can I expect to get with a Dynamat Trunk Kit?
While results vary from vehicle to vehicle and depend greatly on the installation, typical results have yielded a 3dB increase in Sound Pressure Level (SPL) bass output from a normal installation.

Sir trust me I had the same thing in mind ie., without the lip. The FD2 bumper is itself so sexy even without the lip and fog lights. The wide f=gaps of the fog lights and the intakes look very aggressive and sporty.

Conragts Fouad bhai on an excellent set of speakers and dynamat! My advise would be to use proper spacers for installation of speakers to ensure no rattling

I was about to write on that. The spacers used were of Lasani and wrapped in thin but fine carpet. The only issue was that the thickness of the spacers used was almost 1" which I think should of been 0.75" as 1" due to its thickness might cause the door panel to not fit back in place properly, thereby entailing slight force to be used to get the panels fit in and aligned properly.

But I am so very satisfied Masha Allah, with Focals that I could use another set in the rear without a subwoofer but obviously things needed to be balanced out. Nice purchase with no regrets at all. The only thing now left is an Amplifier which is in the pipeline.

May I add just a couple of words "not" quoted on Dynamat website ..?

Dynamat recommends using it on "all accessible areas" .. however, owing to its specific consistency ... it should not be used in the engine bay, and more specifically the hood underside ... owing to extreme temperatures, Dynamat is likely to melt ....

In my car, I am waiting for the Altis/ 2.0D hood liner to arrive and then I am going to use Dynahood in that area.

Wheel arches produce the most noise ... while it is easy to Dynamat the rear wheel arches, it is difficult to do the same with front arches. Dynamat also comes in liquid form .. but not available in Pakistan. Dynamat Xtreme cannot be used on the wheel arches from the engine side due to high temp issues and also the cosmetic considerations ... so I am thinking about another solution for the front wheel arches ... InshaAllah, I will share my conclusion when I finalize my thoughts on this ... Dr Tanveer, our dear friend has done something to his car, and today I will have detailed consultation with him on this subject

0.5 inch MDF is best for door installation ... anything beyond that is likely to interfere with fixing the door trim .. the speaker should not touch the door trim ... otherwise it is likely to generate undesirable results. If there is no issue of touching between the speaker and door trim, then 1.0 inch is also okay but the spacer of this thickness would be comparatively heavy and it should be secured very tightly with proper insulation.
