You can get the stickers from market. They won't be noticeable. Ziada log chrome walay daekhtay hain kyun k original waloun ki shine pehlay jaisi rehti hai aakhir tak.

Which sticker do you want brother? I have seen these stickers many times and for 100-150 per piece.
You can see the Prosmatec sticker on my ride. I have altered it to nonProsmatec. I got that for 150 and it looks fine on the car. It even had Progressive Shift Management Technology written, just like the original.

    Congrats Khurram bhai.

I also did a small DIY of installing the steering wheel in my car. The controls do not work as for now but will soon inshAllah when zunny bhai will hand over the clockspring to me.
It was lying useless in my room so I thought instead of the shelf, I shall place it in my car. Jo bhi hai, shashka to hai naa...

    New Stuff2011 Civic VTi &quotVIPER" -277044

    Now, a couple of things...

    • Shall I place the complete steering wheel, i.e. with all the buttons or shall I only put the audio controls in my steering wheel and install it here? I can make use of the spare buttons as there are a few things for which I'll require some buttons.
    • I have asked the guy who deals with the audio systems of my cars for the OEM in-dash 6-CD changer. However, he asked me to see a DVD Navigation system that is not Rockmars which would be arriving to him in a couple of days. According to him, it is much better than Rockmars. But whatever it is, it would be Chinese. Now, shall I go for it if it appeals me or shall I get the 6-CD OEM changer?
    • Last; can we get the motor that comes in retractable side mirrors? I want to know whether we can make the mirrors of non-oriel models retractable without changing the complete assembly like Sattar Khokhar bhai did to his Gli.

    (Y) istafa for installing them...show shaw to bunn gai hey
    • Its upto you; if your audio control steering is in good shape; use it; else use its button...i will be using the control steering one; so that original one remains intact and when selling will put it back...the VTi's usually have low resale; and no one will give us anything for these addons
    • These controls will work with Oriel CD Changer and Rockmars...I am also told about the new in-dash thing coming up soon...I am also waiting for it...I will not be using Rockmars for sure. I am in no hurry; if this new in-dash thing is not good; will go for Oriel CD Changer OR the existing Kenwood one; it has the support of Steering Controls; to make the steering control work with Kenwood / Sony / Pioneer HUs; we need to add resistances; I wrote the existing Honda Steering resistances for reference...as these Kenwood / Sony / Pioneer etc needs different values. @rizwan400 posted there values in his https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/mem...nic-sr-arrived thread; he has successfully run them with the Sony HU; if you want to go this route; instead of getting it done from some road side electricians / audio-wala...I strongly recommend find some Islo Pak Wheeler with relevant degree who can guide you how to properly do it.
If you are not in hurry; and want to wait for the new in-dash; wait till I get it done from Rizwan Bh. Will post pictures / details. We have decided to wait for the new in-dash thing till Eid...Rozon key baad aram sey karein gein...if this new in-dash will have good quality will go for it; else will find some nice HU or will run with existing Kenwood one

Well if they work with the current Kenwood Player, then I will have enough money to change the speakers etc. Otherwise I'll have to pay some nice amount for either the DVD or OEM Changer. Zunny Bhai is coming on 6th of August. Lets see what can I do till then. I'll check from the man who installed Sattar Bhai's system. Also, I'll post the details of the unit that the dealer has advised me. I hope it turns out to be something good.
Btw, how much will the new in-dash that you are talking about cost?

Well, that is what I shall be telling my electrician. He visits Shoba Bazar every weekend. I'll be using one of the extra buttons on the steering for that purpose.

Check the stock player's manual; yours is different...the manual has the details....or else you have to plug it out and see if it has the required pin at the back or Google its specs. Oriel CD Changer is usually 10k - 15k; you will need to fiddle a bit to make the USB to work with it; it has AUX port in the back...17lakh ki gari and those cheap cigarette lighter usb to aux adapter serious setback

If you do this; share the details....To use the "extra button of steering" you might need a PIC controller (2-3k kharcha approx) and help of some good guy who can do such interfacing properly...Having PIC in place you can use all remaining one for some other things (imagination and getting proper info is the limit)

    Lightbulb

^^ Yes; using PIC you can basically do this

Enthusiasts/hobbyists are encouraged to check Building a PIC18F USB device - WFFwiki; it will be "SUPER COOL" to have 2 DIN Car Computer; running Windows 8 (which is due early next year ); with some setup as given in the URL; basically controlling Windows 8 using these Steering Controls

Idea for Final Year Project or something!
