    If you get your car before Eid than you will have double celebrations on Eid,and your Eid ill be more wonderful but since your car would be brand new so you wouldn't wanna get it dirty in the blood water of the Qurbani Animals.

    New Stuff2011 Civic VTi &quotVIPER" -331868

    Took it to its last free inspection today! Brakes and Throttle were serviced...

    Asked about the power steering pipe issue that @istafa faced in his nonProsmetic II; lucky new owners; they fixed it in 2009 onwards by giving a longer pipe that doest give the issue

    PKDM Civic doesnt do it

    I hate its door lock/unlock sound; they sound like FX locks; even Cultus sounds much better

    "I think" ECU is receiving and generating signals...the lock system knows its "state" (i am locked or unlocked) and should respond...this is what makes me believe there are different locking systems. This is why there are different people even in states saying this feature is not working in certain versions. PKDM locking system is said to be made by some local vendor and they must have skipped it to reduce cost or absence of technical know-how; the typical Paki approach

    so .... which particular component of the locking system contains this interface to ECU?? the main central controls on the driver's door?? or some place else?? if it is on the controls on the drivers's door then one can get a good contition second hand version of the controls and install it. if that's not the case then i dunno how we can do it...

    oh One real stupid question...what PKDM stand for???

    @PJamula

    You can get it done. No rocket science involved. A good electrician with proper guidance can do it. You may have to purchase some extra components for it however. These items include, one central locking motor and a security system's ECU. You don't have to connect the security system completely with you car and just have to use its "auto locking" functionality. The unlocking gets its signal from the switch which you can chance and give it from the "P" gear whereas the locking function gets its signal from the brake, which you can change and give it from the "D" or can even leave it unchanged.

    The central locking motor would be working on the instructions from the security system's ECU and that will make the OEM central locking follow itself.

    Hmmm... so if i understand you corectly i should go get a security system and canibalize it.
    Does the OEM not have a central locking motor already installed??
