    3. Slowly release the clutch and attempt to start moving in 4th gear.
    4. If it wants to move forward then stalls: your clutch is good.
    6. If it shakes, studders, doesn't want to move after u slowly release: bad clutch.

My guess is that either the clutch / clutch wire requires adjustment or you gotta take the pill and pay the bill: replace the clutch plate (recommended). Secondly once the car is in motion at 2000-2500RPM, how is the behavior? Is it like unable to move as if someone is pushing it back when the RPM is 3000 or more? In that case again: change the clutch.
its just giving trouble while picking up the car from a complete hault. once it gets into motion its all well . and also while releasing the clutch in 2nd and 3rd gear, there is a slight vibration. the major jerks are just in the 1st gear when picking up the car from zero.

Okay, I guess, I've understood your issue (to some extent). Till now I was also facing somewhat the same problem. At what RPMs do you normally shift the gears serially when you put your car into motion with the first gear? I think it should be 1500-1800 RPM cuz 1000RPM would be too low to shift with an R18. No?

Also check your plugs / plug wires

Sir the stuff that you just mentinoned is one of the better ones. Reviews are good. Again, it slims down to your budget. How much are you getting for?

I would suggest getting it serviced, maintained and properly charged before investing finally in the battery.
