@Khurram, if you decide on 16" then DO NOT go for anything plus or minus of 205/55-R16. Stick to what is recommended. I think the tyres you mentioned, are not performance oriented. Maxxis model is not clear so if you could tell us that as well. My choice in Dunlop would be Direzza DZ101 or Z1 Star Spec

Like I said before, you have to be very very careful in choosing rubber for 16". If you are interested me and the other members could help you out with it. Try asking from members with experience specifically on Civic 2007-2011.

Riaz, that is a very nice tyre indeed and very sensible shopping. Its also surprising to know it was there even as in the local market here theres not much variety. For example you can't just walk upto a shopkeeper and ask him a specific tyre with the profile and size you want. Do share with us the price and place of purchase for the rest of us. Also, what other sizes were available. Can Khurram get 205/55-R16 in the same tyre? Khurram....Tune in please.

I had fever again in noon. Evening was better; ringed few shops whose cards I collected few days back. No one had any good 16" tyres, everyone was suggesting Maxxis. There is something fishy about Maxxis, I guess shopkeepers make more profit out of them or something! Maxxis tyres are hard; I checked them. Given 16" rims cost (40k) and then the trouble of finding some good tyres that too even in higher price range (10k+ a piece) this really sums up to a big number. I will revist this sometime in future; have decided to stick with stock steel rims + Goodyear Assurace.

I also liked my brother advice; "Dont waste the money; save it for new shaped top of line variant of 9th Civic (when it comes out in Pakistan). You will not get good money of these additional things. Goodyear Assurance is fine for daily driving mean time"

I am Insh-a-Allah meeting Rockmars local dealer in Lahore on Monday for installing it in my Civic; I read somewhere Rockmars also has OBD and TPMS option with additional wiring/senors ofcourse. Will post updates in this thread if I come across with anything useful.

    1. Get the car registered: ~60k
    2. Rockmars with Camera from Rockmars dealer: ~28-29k
    3. Some Khawari in Lahore Tyre Shops (Nila Gumbad) for slightly used Oriel Rims: ~35k-45k
    4. Bilal Gunj for Oriel Fog + Head Light Switch
Now he might not be accompanying as Monday is working day; so agenda of Monday now is [1] and [2] and will return back quick to reach office max by 1PM Insh-a-Allah. How much time it took when you installed Rockmars? I think it should not take more than 1 hour or so?

Khurram bhai get the depo fog lamps, they are really good. I was searching for the original fog lamps also, the best i got was: 'Kabli' dipper switch for 3500, and kabli oem lamps for 8000 a pair (which were buffed) and wiring extra....
