    used sensors will be around the $100 mark. As per my knowladge from various sites n discussions.no wire req. The sensors aree placed in the tyres n they op wirelessly giving sigs. Im not sure whether there is a separate input kit needing to be connected to the tach or the tach will take care of it. If the cruise hoopefully starts working ill proceed with this venture or else sukoon n enjoy the audio controls the least.

    Ok I just got feedback from 2-3 guys shortlisted for the trunk lid insulation DIY. I'm sure they can live upto the claims they are making with the clear demand in the background not to compromise on quality.
    If it works and I am myself satisfied then I'm available to help anyone in this regard. But I think Sound System or No Sound System, it is equally a good thing for keeping noise and rattling to the minimum apart from giving Viper a very clean, sleek and finished look.

    Lemme finish with the trunk lid first. Okay, I'll also try to get the total cost of hood insulation alongside too. Will update you in the evening.

    Yummy! Using some aftermarket kit or OEM? It needs interfacing / reprogramming ECU? Looking forward for the final outcome; pictures and details

    Khurram bhai, as a matter of fact, some things are hard to arrange in Pakistan. And suppose you get them, they will certainly not prove to be cost effective, thereby sky-rocketing the overall cost of the car to a point which could be conveniently called insane. Worst of all, when the time comes to say goodbye to the ride, those items don't really count much due to (1) being labeled as "used" and (2) inability of the buyer to appreciate the level of passion and effort, apart from $$$ thats gone into the car.
    DIY may not be able to match the machine crafting but it gives a certain level of confidence, satisfaction and above all quality for much less. Uptil now, the things I've done could not be part of a DIY eg., Alloys, Tyres, Lights etc. But now the time has come to get out of the AC and sweat a little.

    @Zunny,

    To install cruise control in local civic, different cluster is necessary?

    Cuz if we give a closer look to our local cluster, they do have Cruise Control icon inthem [Checked with a torch]

    bro u req a new cluster. The icon may be cut out at the front but the internal wiring isnt present. Trying out a by putting in an LED mite be a cheaper way to check but i doubt it as the internal circuits mite be missing. I tried hooking up the wires behind Pakistani civic tacho but no luck.also diagnostic test doent reveal icons either. Im 99 % sure u will req a new cluster. Now ill be getting reading in miles. Now wife n parents will think im not going near 100kmph n im slow lolzzzzzz.

    still batting in my 90s !! Still need ur prayers n best wishes. Inserting wires behind the tacho is a true PITA esp when its boiling hot n no electricity. Still wiring not 100 % sorted. Our clocksprings are diff so will be a mission re routing the wires through the clockspring/airbag squib. A couple of days at least. Prayers needed for the final phase of my 'PROJECT CRUISEMATEC' INSHAALLAH .

    ^^^ The icon is there but its going to illuminate when the internal wiring is complete and the grip connects to the back of the cluster. Thats for sure.
