I'll share with you some research that I did. Then we both can decide with the recommendations of fellow members about what product to choose. Bhai I'm a poor Viper owner and cannot afford DynaMat but I wont settle for something unprofessional too. Let the game begin...........

First I thought of installing an airbag in my car as I have the main component with me and would just require the sensors etc. Anyhow, its up on sale for now as I have plans to utilize that cash somewhere else. If I didn't get an offer till I reach Pakistan, I'll inshAllah go for an SRS project.

Btw, this is the steering I got.

New stuff 2011 Civic VTi "Viper" - 244943
best of luck for the project. But i have my doubts on this 1. The SRS stands for supplementary restraint system .it incls ,airbag , impact sensors, seat belt tensioners etc. The airbag is a major part but very delicate to handle. I doubt the cost will be quite alot. The airbags/seatbelts have a small quantity of explosives which are blasted on impact. The airbag is depl in 1/10 th of a second due to the explosives. When the signal is sent the seatbelts pull the occupant back to a min certain distance away from the airbag as too close to the airbag n it can be fatal. A person in Karachi put a seatbelt holder sought of thing in the seatbelt pastener to get away with the beeping sound n lite on the dash. The circuit was complete on impact n upon impact in his CL7 or CL9 the airbags deployed n the occupant suffered from a broken neck n was killed on the spot. honda techs world over recommend to wait min 10 mins after disconnecting battery terminals too remove any static before remooving airbag as it is so dangerous to mess abougt with them. I will not recommend u bringing the airbag with ur lugguage due gto the reasons menntioned above. If the airport scanning machines detect explosives u mite land up in trouble. Plus the static factor to avoid depl of airbag is anotgher reason. If still u insist on bringing the airbag, just remove it n place it in a separate container n not att to the steering. Btw honda charges 180k for the complete srs system which includes the airbags seatbelts n sensors to replace the system in case of an impact.

Thank you for the very important information. I do have doubts over this DIY as once I saw a program about airbags on Discovery and they stated it as a bomb in a car. And I don't trust anyone in Pakistan to carry out this operation in my car. Regarding carrying it along, I'll check it from the authorities before putting it in my luggage. And it is not connected to the steering. In the picture above, I just put it on the steering to take the picture whereas it is separate. You can see it/s pictures in my thread https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bod...irbag-assembly
I have completely covered it and taped it just because of the above mentioned reasons. Rest I'll see what suits the best. I am hoping to dispose it off to a person who is in need of an airbag as I don't have any demand for it and would be giving it at throw away price.

No fuel consumtion reading but it has oil life display which shows the remaining oil life in %. I managed to reset the irritating service light indicator displaying the spanner yellow spanner. This feature is good for checking oil life.

A big NO for Oriel side mirrors...it will look "cheap" and paindoo having two indicators; one on mirror and one on side! If you can find just retraction motors and such thing can be installed into existing mirrors...yes; that will be "cool"

I am trying to stop myself; but Its Civic not C____...dont do such cheap things
