hmmm ... my determination and passion is rapidly resulting in tanning of my skin .. and by the time I finish dynamatting, I will look more like a Kenyan than a Pakistan ...

But ... remember the car I mentioned to you on phone .. that car had this kind of body kit ... very few cars make my heart bit skip, and it was one of those cars ...

I will discuss the possible discount with the person on Monday InshaAllah, and then I will tell you the prices.

However, additional load on pocket requires the roller ... I have not seen anything like that in hardware stores, etc ... so for proper application of dynamat sheets, roller is a must. I bought the rubber wala .. pro version.

@All: Just had a brief telephonic discussion at 1:15AM with Sattar Khokhar bhai and very nice of him to offered his guidance on Viper thread. Very rightly pointed out by him was that there needs to be a direction chalked out for Viper. Things should not be haywire. While my debate was that accessories and parts specially the imported ones and OEM are comparatively difficult to find/arrange and expensive, so I try to grab anything that fits the bill whenever available because if you let go of an item, you won't find it next time leading to regrets. But Khokhar bhai is very right, despite my debate, we need to set course for Viper to follow.

The Dynamat dealer does not have this megapack ... which I think would be good for splitting among friends. This is exactly double the size of bulk pack

    Door Kit

Dynamat creates a "sonic barrier" restoring 3, 6, even 12 dB of lost dynamic range Gaining just 3 dB doubles your effective amplifier power. Not only do you up your amp output, you hear more of the sounds you want - like music, navigation systems, video, and cell phones.
Dynamat Door Kits come in two levels of performance. The Original Door Kit offers the best value for the money. The Xtreme Door Kit controls vibration four times better than Dynamat Original and requires no heat for installation.

Kit contains four 12" x 36" (305mm x 914mm) pieces of Dynamat Xtreme to reduce road noise so you Hear More Music!™. Kit includes enough material for two standard size doors. For proper installation, use one of our Dynaroller tools. Self-adhesive.

I am not against "music" but I never understand the importance of having "loud music system" in car?
    • If one likes listening loud music...setup a sound system in some "listening room"; people used to make them in houses!
    • Eventually everyone has two ears and if sound clarity is required; a good professional grade earphone and iPOD works fine?
These above point always come to my mind; I am not against installing heavy sound systems in car; I respect those who do that and I love what Kokhar Sb has done with Ladli BTW

I'm a big fan of clarity at mid levels of volume. Every now and then I would want the fav song to be played loud but not loud enough to see through the rear view mirror and just to find that the rear windshield is vibrating big time. And trust me, this does happen.

I think Khurram is referring to the stock audio system to be capable enough to give him the clarity and levels he wants in the notes (without the requirement of a power-house)
