Never compromise on these oils, always use Genuine Honda PSF and Brake Oil. PSF from Honda costs 900rs/bottle.

@skill: its not that simple anymore, here in shershah, karachi, the shopkeeper told me the pump would cost around atleast 10-12k for 7th gen civic.

Last year i had Nissan Sunny B14 with the same problem, i got its steering pump for 2k as well, but civic, and specially the new one, is different, these guys have gone nuts !

I know its a DIG but better than making a new thread.

Today at work, i drove a 02 Civic with EPS. I felt very nice and light. I stress tested it and it seems to work absolutely flawless. I wan't to know how lasting and successful are these swaps? Is it feasible to do one ?

Ji bhai - It was softer than swift !

The guy said his brother who works in Semens had it replaced from Siemens fleet carsd workshop. The old HPS developed rack leakage.

Mine is working absolutely fine . Just gathering info for possible future needs. The steering on that civic feels nice and soft. Offcourse it lacks the feeling of hps but takes away parasatic load on engine so the car felt fast and he was claiming a mileage of 10/11 with ac in city.
