Default Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine

I have recently bought a Civic 99 EXI.but the engine is swapped by previous owner. Now i dont know which type of engine is installed. Its no reads " D15B3xxxxx" but there are too many versions of D15B aval on net so its confusing & i think its non V-tech. It has fuel injectors & ECU installed. I need to know the following:
    1. Exact engine type & name?
    2. Is it carby or EFI
    3. Is it v-tec or not
    4. Does it req an EMULATOR & ADVANCER for CNG as it is not installed but CNG is working
    5. Wats the original engine type which comes factory fitted in civic 99.Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine - irfan44 albums d15b picture4038 20052011015Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine - irfan44 albums d15b picture4039 20052011016Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine - irfan44 albums d15b picture4041 13052011014Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine - irfan44 albums d15b picture4040 20052011017Help Identify my CIVIC 99 Swapped Engine - irfan44 albums d15b picture4042 13052011013

It is not carby as you can clearly see it has got fuel injectors, and sensors so your first concern is sorted out...it is an efi engine and not carbi.

Now that you have bought this car, you should use it the way it is as long as it is not giving you any trouble.

After driving it for few days you will be in the best position to comment if this engine goes well with civic or not. By the way if this engine is 1500 cc it should be able to cater the power requirements of a 99 civic chassis...

the engine is doing well. i have driven it almost 3000 kms including a journey from lahore to karachi with A/C in 2 days at speed of 120km/hr. no overheating. It is giving me 180/150 kms on highway without/with a/c & 120/100 kms in city (55 lb cylinder). the only thing i noted is an increased vibration of engine when accelerated hard in 2nd gear but vibration fades when acceleration becomes steady. my mechanic told me that one of the engines foundation is weak & thats causing the vibe.
