    Exclamation Civic oil change

    I have civic 2003 exi prosmatic on CNG

    Just want to know which engine oil to be used and what is recommended specification of oil by Honda.

    Can I use caltex Havoline 20w-50 CNG oil in it.

    He must have bought a second hand car.

    @Poster,
    20w-50 is much thicker oil. It's suitable for old engines. If your car mileage is not so more then try to put 10w-30 havoline formula in it.

    yup this is my second hand car............ so no idea which brand is previously used and which rating is used.

    AFAIK, Honda sells rebranded Caltex Havoline for a higher price.

    20w50 is great, you can used it at ease with total peace of mind. Just make sure you get the original oil, because Lahore's market is deeply infected with fake oils...just like fake gold leaf.
