    Default Civic Engine Replacement

    Assalamu Alaikum Friends,

I have Civic Prosmatec 2002. Can someone advise is this better to replace the engine or repair the engine?

What is the cost of replacing engine with Sher Shah engine including labour or what is the cost of repairing engine?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Noman

Have all the local mechanics lost the knowledge in overhauling engines. A good overhaul job is always better than an engine you know nothing of.

Unless your older engine is an obsolete model or is severely underpowered from the factory. like the original 1.0 B13 nissan sunny.

It is generating noise when I push accelarator and engine is just turned off when I try to increase the speed to more then 20 KM/H. I discussed one of the mech working in Honda authorized workshop and he said it is better to replace the engine because the engine cannot be repaired.

What was Nissan Gandhara thinking when they put this motor in the Sunny? My cousin still has a Nissan Sunny with this engine, it's as slow as a snail and now he has converted it to CNG
