Default Does CNG work alright on Civic 2004-2006 VTI Prosmatec?

    Hello all,

I currently have a honda city vario 2005, but do not have CNG installed in it as it's not advisable.
But I heard it does work with these Civic Models.

Does it? Because my city's on petrol and that's getting really expensive as the petrol's on hike. I saw that in 3 months I had to put in petrol of Rs 25K as I have a lot of running.

I even like these Civic models and would also like to know about the EXI Model.

I will only drive Prosmatec as that suits me. So is it advisable in Civic for auto transmission to work, and which version you have(Landirenzo)?
    Which works best thanks

My car was only driven in DHA and still such lousy mileage. Had to take off that stupid thing and now it's on petrol. It's a fuel drinker alright, hardly 8km/l.
    Any1 else?

dont install cng cause its not cost effective these days due to load shedding and total non availibility in winters.

i also faced RPM drop problem in my civic. Went to every mechanic.
Then after that i got myself Lambda Kit installed. First i thought it was another mechanics scam trying to rip me but took the risk and it was worth it.
Now its been 7 months since i installed the kit and not even a single rpm drop problem have occured. The pick is also good as well as mileage.
    Gives me 170km on motorway.
110km in city. Once i got the cng filled from rawat and it went abt 240km.

Don't know about vti prosmatec but I'm using cng in exi prosmatec 2006. I got the ride in april 2006 and installed the cng in august 2006, now the odo reading is nearly 65000km and cng is working just fine with no trouble at all since very first day. I'm getting almost 100km per 55kg cylinder inside city and 130km to 150km at motorway.

Govt. has already announced that they are shutting down major gas fields (e.g Qadir pur gas field on August 28th) and no CNG will be sold as soon as the weather changes just a little bit. They are looking to make huge profits by squeezing us. I say stick to the city and brace yourself for petrol usage at least for the next 6-8 months.
