Default Advise required - CNG consumption of civic exi prosmatec

    aoa to all PWs!

I need advice/ expert opinion regarding CNG mileage of my 2005 civic exi (prosmatec) which has gone down after every passing week.first, some background of the issue.

It all started approx 8 month ago, when i decided to get my CNG kit and 55 kg cylinder cleaned (although i was not having any issues).since then, its cng consumption has gone from 100+ to 80/85 and now around 70/75 km ( i dont use AC that much and try to keep it below 2500 rpm, and no hard revving)

in Rwp, i have gone to 5 to 6 CNG mechs, they all have tried there 'todkas' with confidence without any result at all and loss of money as well. following things already done a number of times.
    a. general CNG tuning ( gas pressure/ air flow/ adjusment).experiments done from either keeping them too low to too high as well with no advantage
    b. throttle body/ map sensor cleaning twice from different mechs.
    c. tappet setting.
d installation of automatic screw for gas adjustment (mech told me that this device is connected with emulator and after this no cng setting will be req..but no result either)
    e. cng leakage checking.
    f. spark plugs change twice.
    g. air filters of different quality thrice.

NOW, after all that , do you guys suggest that there is something else to be checked also. i mean all mechs say that this being a 1.5 lit car should easily do 120 km + in a cylinder in city driving (despite being auto tramsmission) but actually it is doing almost half

need desperate advice/ help or reference of a realy good mech of cng in rawalpindi. thanks

Ifran44 has a nice suggestion, temporarily swap it with one of your friends and see the result. In fact both of you would see the result.

    ...no reduction in engine oil
..no change of engine oil colour

in fact mileage on petrol is pretty good i.e 10 to 12 km/l
I had the same problem with my toyota corolla-X, everything physically looked fine, the engine, radiator,no smoke,no oil reduction,no change in oil color, but eventually the problem was that the valves got jammed and the car was performing exactly the way your car is doing, I got that problem solved with engine head over hauling from Toyota dealership at a cost of 12500/= and the car's performance is supreme. I shared my experience with you, its not that you also must have the same problem, its a possibility, the above physical investigations that you listed do not assure that the car hasn't valves problem.

The red light on advancer means its working, but it doesnt mean its functioning correctly or infact setup correctly. just giv it a try. prosmatics must use a map2 sensor not the usual map sensor. is it the same

Try to get the gearshift synchroniser checked by some reliable mechanic with computer analyser like UNISCAN.

Try and get hold of a good Advancer. The advancer needs to be tuned or adjusted too. What u need is a good mechanic to sort this problem out. There is this guy on the Pak wheels named Fyq. His cell numbers are as follows.. 03009878977 and 03145060065, Try and contact him and hopefully, he may solve your problem.
Secondly, I know that Landi Ranzo has their authorized dealers and workshops at Karachi so there may be one at Islamabad also. See if any fellow Pak wheeler from Karachi can confirm and give u the address.

    @ rashidsaleem & benaam

looks like i am not the only one with this cng issue..

recently i went to islamabad ...car gave 110 km mileage with AC ( previously 70-75 km in city)
but while driving again in Rwp its mileage is around 70-80 km withour AC

still i need to know some really good cng expert in Rawalpindi (not islamabad)
since they will be calling u again and again for neccesary adjustments/ tuning

guys .. i dont want to screw up my car by just hit and trial by regular road side mechanics
already a lot of effort has gone into this issue...

I need to be sure now which mechanic to go to...

Red face IT IS NOTHING BUT the problem with your "ADVANCER" and its advancer wiring harness.

IT IS NOTHING BUT the problem with your "ADVANCER" and its advancer wiring proper installation with your sensor

Please consider the following points before installing new advancer.

1.Please change your advancer with Tamasstto Lavato CIP 4 or CIP 5. (Original One)

    2. Exact connection of Advancer Cable Harness to Fuel Injectors ,Throttle Position Sensor and MAP Sensor.

    3. Consider the below link for knowing about advances/emulators

Functions, installation & settings of Advancer/Emulator | PakWheels Blog emulator

    4. Go to a CNG Mechanic which has volt meters to check the proper sensor voltage cables instead of saying "Tati" (Positive) and "Taddi" (Negative)Cable.

    5. Don't forget, connecting single cable without proper knowledge can give you a loss of PKR 20,000 for frying your car ECU.

Please re-post for further knowledge and solution digging to help community.
