    Thumbs up (FINALLY SOLVED) Civic 99 Drinking Petrol like Sharbat

    Salam PWs
    My civic is drinking petrol like hell. does only 300 kms per tank on highway & even less in city. The petrol needle can be felt going down while driving. there is no leakage & car moves great on petrol. no problem in driving.
    On CNG it does 200kms per 55cylinder. can u tell me how to increase petrol average. i have the advancer installed and it works. no problem on driving on CNG or PETROL. plz help

    As per my research the A/T engines hav a 3 wire iacv & M/T hav 2 wire iacv. so u r good with a 3 wire iacv as far as u hav an IM 4m an A/T.
    Check out the MAP sensor output at idle. it should be less than 1Volt. if more, then u must lookout 4 a vacuum leak instead of iacv.

    Brothers is it a good idea to change the TB of civic 2005 with kabli one facing rpm drop on cng petrol is fine car completed 240000 km and mech say there is gap in throttle body. any idea of cost of used TB? car engine stops when ac is on at low rpms but ac runs fine when car idle.

    The iacv also sticks and RPM still at 2000 on petrol and CNG.

    Any recommended place for TPS adjustment and sanning in karachi?

    @bradpit
    IMO if ur engine runs fine on petrol then ur throttle body is fine.
    if there is a gap or play in butterfly/throttle plate then u need to change it.
    why 2000 rpm on petrol & cng. who set it. the rpm should b 800 on petrol & cng both at idle. get the IACV opened & cleaned separately, not just general cleaning of TB with spray. I think sombody hav already messed up the throttle stop screw.

    Brother many thanks for reply actually i was trying to say that IACV stucks at 2000 RPM I have serviced IACV with local mechanic and it was fine but after one month I have same problem now was RPM stuck at 2000 at idel and it goes down when I press cluth or change gear.


    Should I change neotek advancer with lendirenzo and change the venturi to burner type?

    Second problem is that on CNG the car stalls at low speeds at RPM goes as low as 200 and engine stops at A/C it all starts recently when i installed neotek advancer black one and now the cng consumption is reduced from 120km to 80km.

    I have heard that RPM drop problem on civic is due to incorrect advancer.

    The TPS cllaibraiton threead is my favorite but the problem is that I have no clue how to do it or form where in karachi i can get it done at a good place I will viist tatiq road tomorrow.

    So if I change the TB is it a good decision at ragazine line plazza quoted me 5000 with installaton is it resonable?

    I dont Hav any clue abt the price.
    As u r all set to change it then why not experiment with it a little.
    If it all started with the advancer then y don't u change it 1st. Let me dig out something abt it's settings then I'll let u know. Btw can u get it all set on petrol?

    Throttle body is for 2500. Get it from babar in gulshan. Pm me and I can send you his number

    I am having same issue of fuel consumption.... assembly installed is d15 exi and car is 99 VTEC.... after reading the forum what I can make out is injectors 190 cc .... but once I say it to shop keeper in shoba Bazar he have no idea.... I ask for civic 95 oriel exi injector which I am sure of being d15 .... car consumption has gone to 12 kms per litre on highway with ac on....... @irfan44 contact number required plus any one that make me cfm or provide me 190cc injector since I couldn't find any visible difference in previous and new injectors.......... any further suggestion shall be highly Appreciated

    Em facing the same issue.. My car is 2002 vti orial prosmatic, i bought it in ramzan.. Its engine is changed.. Currently installed engine is D15Y while orginal was D16W... The car is giving me the pethatic avg of 4-5 Km in city without Ac.. I have done tunning.. computer check.. Throttle body service.. Butterfly repair.. But all in vain.. Still its giving 4 km/L.. Plz suggest the solution...

    Problem solved with injectors..... bought another set of injectors 6kk7.... problem solved.... average goes to 16-17 now....
