Default Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- // RAPTOR \\

Hey guys hope you read my thread in the best of your spirits and health.
First of All, thanks to Almighty Allah for making me reach to this position and write about ride I wanted to own for like years. May Allah enable me/us to come up to his expectations and be grateful to him for literally countless blessings he always showers on us!
Well, after saving amount for like a year from our previously purchased Swift, we had been in a great befuddlement ever since new Corolla was launched. New shape corolla in addition to having better front than its predecessor, fuel efficient & more responsive engine and also better interior; thanks to its better colored wooden paneling, always tempted me a lot. BUT, my natural inclination towards 8th Gen civic weighed far more than cold feet arising from upcoming 9th Gen civic in perhaps less than 6 to 8 months span. This actually became the reason why I didn’t deign to spend over Rs. 2.2 Million for oriel rather went for simple VTI (base model). Moreover, the interior of civic to me always seemed very mesmerizing and was one of the major factors that made me fall for civic…
In that puzzlement, I did approach many respectful PakWheelers and trust me every member guided me, advised me with probably the most sincere preference. I would like to take this opportunity to give my hearty thanks particularly to Airomerix, Immad100, 309, max414, Pyromaniac… Thanks a lot guys. God bless you all.
The minimal delivery time of civic was yet a bonus in comparison to FOUR months of delivery time for Altis (any variant) as I couldn’t afford to wait for that longer…
But I pay my heartiest thanks to Allah for creating such opportunities for me that I ended up buying this absolutely magnificent ride. CIVIC… the pleasure starts right after you open the door and place yourself in its cockpit… the marvelous digital speedometer, the unique tachometer, the most appealing dash, comfortable seats and monstrous engine MASHALLAH… The throttle response, the brake stability, the quiet cabin and buttery handling… Everything’s just great MASHALAH
I aint much into modifying the ride but will be going for some changes like:
 Alloy Rims (any member/ non member having genuine Alloys of Oriel for sale may pls contact me)
     Keyless Entry (already done)
     Tires ( Already installed Yokohama dB v 550)
     Fog lights
 Audio System (Suggestions required for LCD system assuring high quality audio and video)
 Suggestions/Recommendations regarding additional modification are required from all members

And Now, here I am presenting our all new 8th Gen Civic MT VTI.
Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- RAPTOR -306514

Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- RAPTOR -306515

Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- RAPTOR -306516

Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- RAPTOR -306517

Our All New Civic 8th Gen--- RAPTOR -306518

Do give your valued feedback. Thanks

For the Audio System; have a look at SONY's...the one @rizwan400 bh installed in his Altis. BTW this pre is not that bad; its got wiered interface/control...but will work like charm if you replace the OEM speakers!

Also I think you do not need to put croock lock in it as i have heard its immobilizer is quite effective and its almost impossibel to bypass this....

Anywayz Congrates again and drive safe..
well yes waiting for next model is certainly worth it... i will get back to you with its consumption figures soon inshalah as by now my car has only driven some 150 kms..
and yes bro certainly its one hell of a difference once you shift to this car... i had Suzuki Swift 2010 which itself is really quite a neat car with really powerful ride... but again... the feeling in civic is something you just cant get in any other local car...
As far as immobilizer is concerned, yes you're right... i tried the same while i was getting its key made to be used for keyless entry... and prior to getting that key coded from Honda Classic i tried starting car with that uncoded key and guess what... engine started and immediately stopped... and then it never started again when i finally used my original key and got back to my destination so yeah immobilizer certainly rocks
    Anyways... Thanks a lot bro

From OEM speakers, you mean the speakers in front doors or the rear ones? or all of them?

    @rockerguy

Many Congratulations!!!! I am sure you will enjoy your choice......

This is my favorite color.....unfortunately I was forced to go for a different color (silver) this time by my family....since I had been keeping two cars of same color previously....but this will be again my first choice if and when I get to buy a new car.....

You will enjoy the consumption figure as well....I have been constantly getting between 11-12 Kmpl within City with AC and without AC (or on motorway)....it improves further to 12-13 kmpl....

I agree with your modification options.....I have done the same....but with a body-kit in addition.....do consider it.....it will look nice on this color.....

I will recommend you get a 2011 model....if you can manage it now....2012 may come with some downgrades (e.g. plastic interior is a big disappointment) that may prove to be a deal-breaker....in any case if you have got 2011 at that time....you will have the option either to upgrade or keep your 8th-gen.....but in case you decide to get an 8th-gen in 2012....you will not get a new one then...

Any way this is just my opinion....you may have different plans...

    In first go..replace front one...

Use the same size and dont ruine the door interior with too large speakers....I leave the brand/model suggestion to Audio Geeks

Thanks a lot bro for nice words and sharing your experience... I also was having the very same color in my previous car (swift) and yes Im also liking it in civic a lot
Well that quite q good fuel economy you're getting mashalah... I haven't done my calculations with economy yet but I feel it's going somewhere from 9 to 10 in city with AC ON all the time... I'm sure it will improve inshalah as it's just a very new engine covering some 200 kms...
For body kits, yes that's a great suggestion... I certainly would be trying this inshalah... Could you please share the expenses you had for body kit installations?
