    assalam-o-alaikom dear members

recently i ve bought civic 02 exi pros.. car is running fine mashALLAH. but i ve noticed that engine sound seems to be heavy. whenever, i press the gas pedal and then release it, rpm comes to 800 normally but the sound seems to be heavy like hmmmmm.... or ghooooo.... i dnt knw y.. ive changed following

    1. engine oil + oil & air filter
    2. timing belt n bearing
    3. generator belt n bearing
    4. alternator belt

what is the purpose of alternator???

yesterday i noticed silencer piping needs fixation, as it seem quite loose... is it due to that ???? wat about changing gear oil n spark plugs??

one thing more to mention, after changing generator bearing sound has reduced remarkably but generator bearing was of different nature. it seems like to be of steering pump or some other pulley etc... may be of looose exhaust pipe
