Default Civic 2005 Gear and Power Steering

    1. Can poor auto gear cause engine to be ruined? Gear shifts properly, no delay no jerks, no slipping, just 4th gear acceleration is poor. Feeling that like full clutch is not released...

    2. Does power steering hose that comes out of pump heats up? How much? Can we hold it for 2-3 seconds?

not that i know much about this, but the power steering hose in my 99 civic doesnt heat up. I can hold it for as long as I want.

I dunno what to say. Am no expert, but after your post I checked several times (after short runs and long runs and sprints) but its still just warm (not hot). Btw, just to be sure, can you take a snapshot of the pipe you've mentioned?
