    1. I've seen an 8th generation Hybrid near bahadurabad, it was unregistered though.

    2. Its engine mainly relies on regenerative braking, in which an energy (caused by applying brakes) is utilized.

    3. This is kind of a weird question. Obviously the battery timing will vary.

    4. N/A

    5. It utilizes a technique in which the car is almost turned off whenever the car stops, like on a signal or when a reckless bike wala displays his talent by criss cross cutting. This brief turning off of the engine reduces fuel consumption.

P.S. Although I hope I am right, the experts would answer this better.

One of my friend has 2006 reborn shaped hybrid car. he bought it for 1.9million and after 8 mnths of use sell it for 11.5million, reson of this loss is that, there is a connector which connects battery to generator and motors( present on wheels), connector intellegenly converts power from battery to generator in case of low battery , his car's that connector got eectrically shot, so the car halt. he searched different sites and in dubai he found one for 600ks. he refuse to take risk and sold out his car on halt bases. so this car is very very expensive to maintain.

Local manufacturers only will produce/introduce NEW cars if they think those can get them reasonable profit or can go mainstream.

Due to the expensive cars and parts etc I DOnOt see hybrid producing locally even in the next 3-5 years. unless someone BOLD is willing to take a risk.

You are right. I own one and its a nice machine. slightly under powered as it is not 1800cc. Fuel consumption is 22 kmpl on paper in city but actual is 17-18 kmpl
