Can someone help identify the port in the pic below? Identification and purpose?
It is tucked away behind the passenger side of central console (below AC panel).

unlikely... it has 20 pins... OBD should have 16... besides the OBD DLC in Civic PK6 is 3 pin

this is a body wiring plug, maybe for some sort of stereo add on that Atlas Honda have ommited or maybe for an automatic climate control unit.

Its not for the OBD - as the OBD port has its own shape.

i have an extra one lying with me.....its for connecting the audio system to the car.....the wiring is already done to the front and back speakers and the orignal player which came with the car has the grip which exactly fits in it

okay... makes sense... never had the original audio system so didnt know for certain, but thanks.

@Xulfiqar, yeah i know its not OBD... but having an auto climate control port wouldnt have been bad... would have made porting a JDM Climate control unit a lot easier.
