Unhappy Loss of Power/Pickup in Civic 05 Exi Pros

    Dear Fellows,

Need help in restoring pickup/power of my Civic Exi Prosmatec. Following things have been done:

    - Transmission oil changed as per Honda
    - Throtle body and all tunnings done regularly
    - Transmission checked from honda and no issues found
    - ECU has been checked
    - Electric system checked (plugs and coils)

Please note that the car is driven on PETROL. I have this car is driven almost 96K and has been with me since 4 years now. I have felt this over the past 1 year now and still unable to find the reason.Even the fuel consumption is 8km/litre in city without AC.

    Really need an expert advice.

well, the timing belt has been changed recently and the fuel mixture has been optimized.

car is already on high octane. have tried 100% hi-octane and also fuel ration of 40:60.

STOP using HI OCTANE (Use once a while ) - its NOT good for injectors
Get ur injectors cleaned along with the filters and check ur Fuel pressure

high octane will do no good to your engine!

check your throttle plate make sure it isnt full of gum and varnish and it opens 100% on pressing full throttle

check your cam make sure its at TDC
    is there any check light?
