Question Civic 2001 Vti - OBD diagnostics at home?

    hi

(i couldn't find relevant information for my problem after searching this forum)

I need help to diagnose OBD error codes in my civic vti 2001. i have seen obd port under dash board.

I want to know which pin of obd socket should i connect with the car body by using a wire? so it will start blinking the check engine light and i start counting?
i cant use any scanner tool.

I am sure there are a lot of people here who know this. please help. my car does not start. when i start it, it immediately turns off and a blast like sound comes from front (air filter box) and silencer (back)

    thanks
