Default Civic EXI Prosmatic 2006 (Millage on CNG)

    Dear Pakwheels,

    Salam,

    Hope all are fine...

I bought Civic EXI Prosmatic in 2007 (USED) CNG was already installed at that time and we used to get Millage of 70-85 KM in City and 110-115 on Long routes with A/C, with passage of time it decreased to 55-65 KMS in City and 80-90 KMS on long routes.... and one month back it started ti give serious type of Jerks while speeding in low gears... and sometimes engines get shut off... we got CNG Setting many times, but it didnt help.. Last week our CNG Mechanic opened the CNG Wiring, there are some 8-9 Fuses Installed in CNG Kit... 4-5 of them were burned, he replaced them, installed few new wires, added Relay with the advance and result was amazing.... All the types of jerks were gone... and i got 120-130 Km on Long route very next day are getting 90-100 KMS in city with full A/C on....

I wrote all this to help other Civic (Prosmatic) Owners who are having low millage Issue!!!

Sent from my own Desktop Computer using my own Keyboard !!!

Thankyou for sharing your experice with us.
    I own a 2003 honda civic.
Im getting the exact mileage quoted by you in one full cylinder.
mine is a vti and I know it is 1600cc so it should consume a little more.
do you think this mileage on full cylinder is good or can it be improved further?
I drive normally, no jack rabbit starts and hard brakes however sometimes I do push the car on empty roads.
on petrol it only gives 9-10 kmpl max in city driving and 14kmpl on highways.
So my query is that is the mileage fine for in city driving? and what about its mileage on highways?

is it ok or do I need some tuning as I have seen members claiming 200kms+ mileage on long routes in their civics?

90-100 Kms per 55Kg cylinder seems the norm as my Exi Prosmatec 2005 also gives around 80-100 Kms depending on traffic and red lights. But the max I got on highway (From Khi to Sukkur) was 139 Kms only

All the above r with A/C on.
