    Default Need advice regarding Civic and city

    AOA,

    Guys i need advice regarding performance of city 2012 and civic 2005 on cng.Are there any issiues after the installation of cng in these vehicles? how's the pickup?.remember i m asking about manual transmission.

    But to personally satisfy my own adrenalin needs, I've been racing cars a little bit, which has been fun.

    I have civic 2005 prosmatec and its on CNG. No issues.

    City 2012 performs extremely good on CNG. My friend is using his city 09 with cng. No issues so far.
    Pick and mileage is awesome.

    Civic is also very good on CNG.

    ^^ i am facing Rpm drop issue in my city 2010
    can you ask your friend about it?
    other then that the car is a bit noisy after cng installation.......
    and knocking is gone after cng.

    city is awsome on cng excellent pick and average

    your car need a cng adjustment get it done from a good mechanic and keep your air filter clean

    bro when i release the accelerator rpm drops then comes back to normal.....is this related to cng adjustment?

    Get ur car's throttle body serviced. If still problem isn't solved. go for tappet adjustment.
    Hope it will be fine after throttle body service.

    Had asked him. He was saying that I also had faced this problem. with Releasing pedal or turning on AC or at conversion. He was saying that problem turned out to be of throttle body. Got it serviced and car is totally fine up till now.

    Regarding noise issue. It can't be solved. On CNG. Car gives bit more noise on high rpm's. But on petrol. It's considerably silent.
