which 9th gen is doing better fuel... prosmatec or manual?

also... in resale... which one is expected to do better... MANUAL, PROSMATEC, MANUAL ORIEL or PROSMATEC ORIEL?

One last Question...the price difference... lets say... between MANUAL and MANUAL ORIEL... is it justified by these 6 additional feautres like SUNROOF, RETRACTABLE MIRRORS, ALLOY RIMS, CLIMATE CONTROL, MAP LIGHTS, and FOG LAMPS ???

1- of course manual is a bit MORE fuel efficient than prosmatec.

    2-Vti oriel Prosmatec- Hot cake.

3-It is well justified, though map lights are there in all trims.

Manual by definition and mechanism should always be more fuel efficient since it assures 100% power transmission from engine to gear box... in this case also, manual should be fuel efficient though fuel economy of prosmatec appears promising... Resale of basic entry level and top of the line models are better.. Price difference is justified.. If you can afford, then go for Oriel since what it gives is worth more than the price difference

Buddy see the stats on the net. In 9th Gen Civic prosmatec ( automatic ) is more fuel efficient than manual

Does yout car has map lights ??? Are after market fog lights available in local market ( for 9th Gen ) ???

May be I can better decide after your review and comparison :-)

i saw its fog lights are available..for about 18k. i had checked those cause i was thinking to get base model prosmatec. but than went for oriel....

do try to get navigation system though. because u will miss USB if u get base model. and i think its pointless to change headunit later cause that steering control will be lost...

how many days till Honda sends that letter normally?

on a serious note, this model looks more like current pakistani CITY from the front and the back is like older city.... and the front bumper foglights are copies from BMW's 3series sport line...

base model manual or pros? and also with NAV? I highly recommend you to go for FF Nav since aftermarket NAV maynot give you steering controls and also aftermarket fitting and wiring is too sub-standard and may often give you problems..

Base means... the base.. i mean... Manual with no add-ons...
i checked from Hall Road and the OEM NAV is available there... two reasons why I chose not to go for FF NAV... 1 - its REALLY expensive... 2 - it requires some subscription (acc to my friend who just got 9th gen Pros Oriel with Nav) ...whereas I had NAVITEL unit (russian, works on GLONASS - russian equivalent of GPS) installed in my corolla (which i just sold) and it never required me for any subscriptions, and I was more than satisfied with it, as it served me well up to Khaplu n Shigar (thats beyond Skardu) and Astor regions...n it also had all the AUX and iPOD etc connectors ...so

What i plan is trying to use iMID's cam option as some friends mentioned in this thread... and might think of adding NAV later..cuz m a bit low on funds side right now

so what i am most curious abt now, is where to get that cam with appropriate fittings to connect to iMID

You should not need a subscription with navigation. I case of TPL trackers navigation devices they issue map updates twice a year. One update is free. If you do not update your maps then you do not have to pay for it.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.
