Default Honda Civic 1995 Restoration, slight modification

    Hi Guys

I recently did a complete body work on my 1995 Civic. This is basically end of phase 1. I plan to do some more interesting things on the outside but more on the interior of this car. I am a fine artist/graphic designer by profession and i see many doable things to improve its interior, I will think and do those things and update this thread.

    Pictures attached, comments welcomed. Thanks

    Danish

Thanks Paranoic... The idea was to restore this car to factory condition and then modify a little bit such as lights, bumper extensions and a low profile spoiler. This is a family car and i wanted to give it a modern look but not a racer type. I am thinking if i can work on plastic acrylic sheets to mold them, to shape like the fabric part of the door panels, that would look really cool, nice glossy look and then i can add a couple of more things to it too like a handle and some sort of light in it. still an idea, i have to explore the material though.

It's a nice and clean car, I know u said u wanna keep it simple, but I would really suggest on lowering the car a bit may be 30-35mm that'll give it a real stealthy look
P.S I love this model, enjoy ur pride
342HP on a small hatchback really is fun when u only have to play with just over 1000Kg

Yes you are right. It has 1.25 inch spacers on the shocks right now which i will remove so it comes down 1.25 inches. (That's about 32mm) I'll see how it looks and then i will move forward.

You've done great work on your car.

Rear bumper extensions and side skirts look very nice but front bumper does not fits well into the car's overall looks. Another suggestion is to mount fog lights. Rest, interior is very decent, but you can replace the cream colour grip (steering cover) with a light grey one to match with the interior.

I agree with you UAHMAD, front bumper can be a little more designed, and also the steering cover, this car's interior was in light cream color earlier, and i had not changed the steering cover the day i took these pictures. I have plans on getting a new bumper casted in fiber later on. I am working on its interior these days, specially redesigning the dashboard. I am designing a modern look center panel. I will make it in wood and wrap it with black acrylic as the final finish. Wish me luck as its going to be a very tricky thing to do, moulding acrylic is not an easy thing to do, but if i get succeeded, I'm sure that dash is going to be one of its kind.

Most of the people tend to modify car's exterior only. Great to see someone who is such inclined to work on the car's interior as well.

Keeping in view your passion for it I'm sure you'll be able to pull it out successfully. Best of luck and do post its pics and details once it's completed.
