    Default Civic 98 Gear shifting at high rpm!! Somebody plz plz help!! :(

    So, heres the story, em havin this automatic transmission civic 98 vti. Recently, i cleaned the throttle body, and the icav.
    But after that, my cars been shfting on higher rpms.....i.e. 4000rpm. Before that, it used to shift at 3000-3500rpm.
    Gear shifting stats:
    1st --> 2nd at 40kph
    2nd--> 3rd at 85kph
    3rd--->4th at 125kph
    Before this, when i released the pedal, the gear used to change instantly, but now, as soon as i release the paddle the rpm goes down all the way to zero gradually, also affecting the speed. So, now whenever i want to change the gear, i have the press the pedal all the way up to speed marks indicated above. I have noticed that the gear is changing consistently at 4000rpm or above.
    What could be the problem....i told the electrician to check the speed sensor, he scanned the sensor but its working fine.

    Also, somebody, please suggest me a good honda mechanic, someone who works on honda only, and knows about the stuff related to auto transmission.
    i am currently, living in Islamabad G11.

    loosen the pressure cable two turns and test again. Set it that you have some play at the pressure lever on the transimission when the throttle plate is fully open.

    Its not a speed sensor issue or anything - this transmission is hydraulic and only has an electronic convertor lockup which does not affect shift select speed.
