Question What type of petrol for Civic (reborn)?

Hi everyone. I'm using my newly bought Honda Civic Vti Prosmatec for the last 3 months, I have not completed even 4000 kilometers on the odo but had one question about the type of petrol. Since start I have driven it on normal petrol, no cng and have no plans for cng in future, just want to keep on petrol. So is it ok if I fill the tank full with hi-octane? Or do I have to mix it with normal petrol. Will anything happen if I fill only hi-octane? Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S.: And if you know any, please tell a good petrol pump in Islamabad from where I can get good quality fuel.

U need to mix it up with the normal petrol with the ratio 60/40 or 70/30.

Thanks for the info! But what will happen if I fill my tank only with hi-octane? Is it ok?

^^^ HOBC aka Hi-Octane Blending Component, is a blending component. You are supposed to mix it with regular petrol, not to use it on its own.

Ok. So many people tell to mix it in ratios. Ratio is no problem. But how do I mix it? I only go to the filling station at an empty tank. Hi-Octane is on one side and Super on the other :s

Use super with Ferox Fuel Treatment tablets. It will help keep your engine free of carbon and will give increased mileage.

pardon me if my information is not right. i doubt one can get high octane in pakistan. I was doing some research a while ago and looked into the tenders of PSO they always give out tender for high octane but never import it. they only import 87 ron gasoline in pakistan.
mind you PSO is the only importer of oil in Pakistan
so question arises is there any reffinery in Pakistan that produces High Octane? if not then i suspect its 87 ron being sold as High Octane

Today I went for a scheduled 5,000 Kms maintainence for my car, and I asked a worker about using Hi-Octane. The guy said to mix it with super by 50/50. He also said it prevents the catalytic converter from getting dirty or something... Is it true? Can I mix it by 50/50?
