Hmm well i have been an old member here. I must say the website has evolved with time. uhmm being around some gear heads lately i decided to upload a review of 10,000km milestone here. I dont think we have any TSBs here anyways as Pakistani honda sucks big time. I wont spend my time ranting about how 'its rubbish what honda pk does or whatsoever' lets keep the ******** aside and get to the real deal will we?
Uhmm first thing i noticed: YAYY the new civic is here!!! Second thoughts: Are u kiddin me? Is this it? Haha :/ well well well honda sure did produce a 'masterpiece' if u get what i mean. Hmm but lets be optimistic ... Half a decade brothers! I hope they strengthened them sunroof pillars! ... Uhm okay if u didn't get what i mean...
Hey yo get ur "reborn" (w'heck that is O.O ) in the sun and see the sunroof surrounding sheet metal! Notice them bends? ... U have been hitting some pot holes lately causing the pressure and tension to centre arround the weak sunroof pillars.
MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEEEERS ON PWWWW!!! I wanna hear u say this yaaar!!
Okokokokokokkkk some of you will be like 'He is talking crap' ... Well leave son! If thats what u think! This is a forum fellas ...

So the story starts as i bought a new PKDM civic... Hmm first impression was like yaar gaari fit hai ... i wont rant again on the sporty cockpit and everything ... who doesnt know? ... 6 YEARS ... Well my take in a month was that: This car is designed, asthetically with addons, with absolutely no sense at all.
Lemme talk 'honda' here. Apparently we have technical service bulletins around the world for the feed pipe issue. In pk i guess people dont know what they are. Those who know, are silent birds. We need a change dont we? Well im not hear to provide one. I will just mention ..
Being technical, i always thought that what made this PKDM civic so different from EX-L back in US? The EXl is so sporty. Has the perfect camber alignment and models all the way from LX Sedan to SI coupe had the perfect balance.
You guys must be like "Perfect balance? eh?" .. Dont worry im coming to that right now. Every seen the back of our PKDM civic. A big huge wide body resting on merely merely 15" wheels which are hardly 6.5" in width and has the off set of a rickshaw.
END RESULT: A 'prado on mehran wheelbase' sort of look. Looks like pakistani engineer GAVE A CRAP about what the specsheet said; Took eurostar in bulk; Imported Enkei wheels Thailand (Nope they aren't there on thai civic; be sad) and slammed them onto the ride. In addition, to top the cake of pathetic-ness, MUD FLAPPERS!!. Giving it such a horrifying look that i cried deep inside when i saw it in my garage. Well then where did go from there? Well i managed to get some EX rims. Fouad BHAI JAAN SIR ARE U READING THIS? (Shhh! He is hibernating ) ..... So uhm yep i got some EX rims Topi Japanese from a US civic .... Now now i machined them to make them more edgy ... Laquer coated them for protection ... Well now tyres ... hmmm .. For this i had to go look into the Technical Spec Sheets for 8thgen civic ... Apparently we recieve a jap version so mughe tou japenese nai aati yaaro punjabi jutt hoon .. Instead i took the service manuals (heynes ) for the fa1 ( ExL chasis code; Learn these if u call urself a modder; Brotherly advice) ... Well after searching and searching and trying and trying i ended up with decibles... Camber angles were again not on specs. For this, Honda here i come. I walk into honda, displayed my issue and his answer 'sir jee hum tou apni adjustment karte hain 0.0' ki' and i was like 'but mere bhai ye 16" wheel hai aur 7" wiidth with 15.2mm extra on-set' bas phir kia ... Yeah yeah yeah i fouht and had it done.
So my ride aka DeMentor sits with (By the Grace of God) all rubber vertically on the floor and straight edge sidewalls. Rule of thumb: Dump, Stance and FLush the ride. Can't do it? Stance at least. Create a balanced ride. An 18" wheel on a 140mm ride height would get u home in the same time, looking like a total dope, but foolish. Side skirts with any wheels less than 19 inches is a no no in modder's world. Well everybody has its own preference. Mine's a bit 'on the papers'
