Default Civic Reborn - Acceleration issue (response)

I own a manual civic reborn. Its almost 150k driven. Its giving acceleration problems from past 10 days. Car turns off in slow running and the acceleration response time has increasedd. It does not accelerate instantaneously. It takes 5 seconds to increase rpm.
What could be the problem? And recommend a good mechanic in lahore.
    Please help
