Lightbulb Civic 2008 cold start Starter Noise

since winters i am facing a strange problem, whenever i start my car in the morning it starts very normally in half self but i hear a grrrrrrrrrr sound after the car starts, sound like over self or maybe the self or starter is not disconnecting the current etc.

pls tell me what could be the problem, and what are the things which i need to check / inspect rest everything is fine and the whole day when ever i start the car there is no such sound from anywhere.

same here. i think its coz of the cold. the solenoid and pinion may get too cold thus gets sloppy like we all getting out of bed in winters!!! i think its a common problem!!

Common problem in the R18. Get the Belt Tensioner checked from Honda. Replaced mine and the noise is gone.

Strange. Dont press the gas pedal unless you reallllly need it, try if it works. Will work best if the battery is in good condition and CNG not installed
