    Default Civic 2005 promatic automatic gear box advice needed

    I have honda civic 2005 automatic its gear box is making a lot of issue car is not going revers and for front i have to use D2 on D and D3 car is bubbling like hell where should i go? can anyone suggest some mechanic? and my car is done around 280,000 km but engine is throwing water should i change the whole engine because at some time car is getting hot when i put coolant in radiator it works for 15-20 days and then again the engine gets hot its because of gear box? or radiator ? or the engine is not working properly? because some mechanic told me that if your engine is throwing water than its in very good condtion ? please advice some good mechanic for gear box?
    and if you knw some good denter and painter as well let me knw ?

    there are a few mechanics in Karachi who repair auto boxes, they are scattered around, the oldest of the bunch are near Khudadad colony and PECHS.

    It is mandatory to use brand new friction parts (discs and bands) and seals and replace any worn metal parts too - the reaction pistons for the bands should be inspected and replaced if showing signs of cracking or wear.

    before any of this - make sure that you have an automatic transmission ECU in your car and that the select lever is working correct.

    ZRS, please share any contact details of these auto gear experts, I'm facing same problem In corolla altis. I visited one auto gear mechanic in gulshan, he suggested to replace it with Kabli worth 18k (after exchnage).

    What's your opinion.
