Default Honda Civic (92-00) Maintenance Schedule

Alot of people ask maintenance related questions but due to a lack of standard or professional practice...they dont get straight answers (that just pisses me off).

I visited a honda dealership in karachi last year and was surprised to see that they didnt had any printed maintenance schedule available. they told me that usually they offer two free service calls for new vehicles and after that....the customer is on their own. thats bullsh*t.

In reality..there are very few people who regularly mantain their cars altogether. U know you car cant survive on only an oil change alone. So i am posting a maintenance schedule for Honda vehicles..starting with the Civics.

    READ THIS:
This schedule was sourced from Honda Canada so i dont have its ownership...lol..plus...it shuould be considered as a general guideline for your car's maintenance...and not something absolute. I personally think its good information that can be utilized if you really want to mantain your car.

I will be posting a similar schedule for the Toyota Corolla, Yaris and some other vehicles that are common in Pakistan so u guys can learn what should be done and at what level.

Comments or questions are welcome....the admins can make it a sticky if they want....If you dont have anything positive to say...stay shut up.

    Thanks...Salman

in that case...you can change it more frequently and adjust the rest of the schedule.

lol ateek...i thought this thread was dead. 150K is alot of mileage i agree but if you mantain an engine right...it can easily last over 200K. depends upon alot of things though...

    @ szuberi:

Rightly said...! Well, my dad had a "1979 Toyota FJ-40", when I was a kid of (I think) 2...! He bought it new & when he sold it, the truck had 400,000+ kms done on it...!

He never had a job done on
    "engine/powertrain"
& even with such milage, it was running
    "great"

What should be the priority as far as the brands are concerned.

    Auto Transmission Fluids by

    • Toyota (being the most expensive)
      Zic
      Caltex

I think your SE Saloon deserves PKR 1500/- after 78,000 kms of running.

    Hope it helps.
